Golf Tournament
The Veritas Legacy Classic Golf Tournament is an annual school fundraising event held in Oct-Nov of each year. Players in the tournament compete on teams of four in a 'scramble' format. There are many ways to participate in the golf tournament:
- Be a golfer! Put a team together and golf.
- Be a sponsor! Sponsor a hole, the entire tournament, or make a contribution to help cover costs associated with the tournament and merchandise for prizes/silent auction/door prizes.
- Votunteer your time! Contact the school 520-417-1113 to volunteer.
- Tell someone! Encourage your friends and business associates to support Christian education by golfing and or sponsoring the tournament.
Golfers
Golfers participate on four-man teams in a scramble style tournament. There are prizes for the first, second and third place teams as well as competitions for Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin (men and women's catagories).
Come out and join us for a great day of golf! Your registration includes a round of golf, a cart, a basket of balls at the driving range, a Mexican food lunch, and a golfer's gift bag.
Each golfer will be entered in a drawing for door prizes and there will be a SILENT AUCTION.
Sponsorship
As a non-profit organization, Veritas is dependent upon fundraising events to support the continued growth of our program which provides an excellent education for young people in kindergarten through 12th grades from all over Cochise County. On Saturday, November 12, 2016, we will be conducting our thirteenth annual fundraising golf tournament, The Veritas Legacy Classic.
Our school would like to offer you the opportunity to become a tournament sponsor. There are two distinct ways to become a sponsor: CASH or MERCHANDISE.
As a CASH SPONSOR your business may choose to sponsor the Entire Tournament ($2,500), One Hole ($500), Half-a-Hole ($250), or make an entry level contribution ($50-$200).
A 'MERCHANDISE SPONSOR' makes a contribution of mechandise or gift certificates/cards that can be used as prizes and for the administration of the tournament. A complete listing of our merchandise needs is included on the Sponsor Registration Form attached to this letter.
Proceeds from the tournament help fund the programs that help develop well-rounded students.These programs include, but are not limited to, high school sports, drum corps, drama, robotics club, and science fair activities. Most contributions are tax deductable.
