You may be thinking like many other parents that the cost of a private Christian education for your child is just not within your means. Please do not dismiss the possibility until you have read through this section, pondered the ideas herein, and diligently brought it before the Lord in prayer.
Enrolling your child in Veritas is an act of faith. Many, if not most of our families, have a minimal annual income that at times seems to barely meet their needs. If this is your situation there will be compromises and sacrifices you will have to make along the way. Take a look at your monthly bills; look for areas where you can cut back. The lifelong benefits your family will receive will far outweigh the short term discomforts.
Prioritize. Of all the things you could give your child, shouldn’t a sound education from a Christian worldview be of the utmost priority? When they are grown, your child really won’t hold a grudge against you because you were not able to buy them the latest "I-thing" when they were twelve.
Help may be nearer than you think. We have many families that receive help from friends and family. There are individuals looking for ways to help ministries where they know who is benefitting from their aid. They just need to be made aware. Speak to individuals and to your church about tuition aid or possibly becoming a supporter of Veritas.
Check out our scholarship page. In the state of Arizona, tax-credit scholarships are available for students of private schools. Each scholarship granting organization determines its own requirements within the parameters of the law, so check out their websites.
Look at it as an investment. A Christian education is an investment in the future of your child. An excellent education can result in generous college scholarships. Like any other investment it takes planning and perseverance before you reap the benefits. Consider reserving your tax refund for tuition, or establishing a separate savings fund into which you place weekly deposits.
If you are convinced that this is indeed the school for your child, step out in faith. The blessings will far outwiegh the costs.
